Thai GDP Grows Less Than Expected In Q3; Govt Cuts Growth Outlook

The Thailand government downgraded its growth outlook as the Southeast Asia's second largest economy expanded at a slower than expected pace in the third quarter on a sharp decline in exports. Gross domestic product rose 0.6 percent year-over-year in the third quarter following the 0.4 percent rise in the second quarter, the Office of National Economic and Social Development Board reported Monday.
