Bank Of England MPC Split 7-2 On Rate For Fourth Time

Bank of England policymakers decided to leave its key rate at a historic low of 0.50 percent in a split vote for the fourth straight time at the meeting held on November 5 and 6, the minutes showed Wednesday. Policymakers raised concerns about inflation overshooting the target and there was a 'material spread of views' on the balance of risks to the outlook.
